We were looking for miter saws and comparison shopping and this one we found to be the best for the money. I am super pleased. The saw cuts everything I put to it. I am a finish carpenter but do a little bit of everything from time to time. Great product, Bosch has comfort in mind for the operator. It is a little bit better than the one he had but even with some of the extra features, he ended up spending about the same amount as when he originally bought his old saw many years ago. The stop on the table extention is excellent for cutting small repetetive panel moulds and other small pieces. The front bevel is in the best place imaginable and is a pleasure to use. There is a miter lock bypass that is good for something I guess, I have had no need for it. Love this Bosch 5412 12-Inch Dual-Bevel Slide Miter Saw and would recommend it to anyone.
