I own a small cabinet shop and bench-mounted this saw to cut everything from face frames to intricate crowns. I have not had the accuracy or quality problems described by some. The indents were absolutely accurate right out of the box, and I especially appreciate the ease of locking in any angle. I have not had any problem with it maintaining accuracy from one cut to the next and it is my most used shop tool. I like this DEWALT DW718 Heavy-Duty 12-Inch Compound Miter Saw because you can add the laser guide for cutting. for the money you will never find one like this for the price.

the milwaukee 12" slider is junk dont be mislead by fake reviews. I have had mine for less than 6 months and the motor will not run correctly, the saw is loose where it belvels causeing it to wobel in your hand. Yeah a digita angle gauge that is hooked up to a loose saw blade! I would stick with Dewalt I have had 2 of their saws and they are a longer lasting and proven tool.
